Introduction

I have struggled with and obsessed about my weight much of my life, which probably influenced the direction I went in college. I have 2 B.S. degrees, one in Dietetics and one in Community Nutrition, and a M.S. degree in Exercise Physiology. With all that, I should have had all I needed to be healthy and svelte myself, in addition to helping people toward their health goals, right? Wrong. It took me a long time to figure out that I needed someone else's help: someone to be my motivator, to be accountable to, to be my coach. I found help in a well-known weight loss company. Honestly, it was my 7th time joining that program, but I did lose 69 pounds, and have maintained my goal weight since then. I have nothing but praise for the program--- I even worked for the company for 16 years. I totally enjoyed guiding and motivating so many people to reach their weight loss goals. So what's up with this blog? I want to reach out and motivate people in a different way, this time not all about weight loss, but focusing on all your health and nutrition goals. Are you ready? OK! Fire up, and let's get to it! Feel free to email me with any questions you have. Deal?

  1. Congrats, on getting this up and running!
    It looks great!

I'm thinking I should have had a glass of milk with the chocolate donut breakfast I had this morning?

Rushing off to work, but I'll check back later.

I had the pleasure of hearing you last year when I was visiting my BFF in Lansing. She has been so inspired by you.
Today she told me about your blog. Although I have never been a "blogger" I am SO thrilled to have access to your wisdom and motivation.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
